We had a minor problem they came ahead of time, finished very fast. They were very professional and friendly. The cost was excellent for the job they did. I would recommend them again to all people who need structural repair.
Many areas of the Southern United States such as Louisiana, Arkansas & Texas are subject to high-velocity wind storms that could potentially destroy homes and buildings and even take lives. There are a few things that we can do when building a new house or retrofitting an older structure to reinforce the foundation and increase its survivability.
When designing your home or business, you should consider using concrete or steel pier foundations for the advantages they have over a slab foundation.
A wood-framed building is usually built using a series of interconnected steel or concrete piers called assemblies. It is often the connections between these pier assemblies that can fail under severe stress or impact, causing the structure to collapse or be removed from its foundation.
The foundation of the structure is the buildings’ first assembly, and its job is to transfer the weight of the structure toward the soil, and more importantly for wind forces, keep the house or commercial property above it from leaving the ground.
Some foundations are better connected to the ground than others, depending on the materials used in the construction process and the attention given to the foundation’s reinforcement. Generally, steel reinforced poured or block concrete basements and crawlspaces are well anchored into the soil. Concrete slabs usually survive as well as long as the connections to walls hold.
Pier and Beam foundations, especially tall ones, need to be carefully constructed using structural engineering to evaluate potential high wind and water surge loads. Lightweight pier and beam foundations are not sufficient enough to withstand high wind, earthquake or flood events without the proper structural engineering or additional bracing and anchoring reinforcements into the soil.
For additional information on tornado piers please contact us today via phone or via website contact form. We are experienced and qualified to handle the situation, and we will answer any questions you have.

After much anxiety about how much foundation repair would cost, I was very pleasantly surprised to learn how affordable Level Home Foundation Repair was. They were on time for both the initial appraisal & the actual repair work. They were pleasant, respectful, and did a great job on the leveling and clean up. They raised the house, with no cracks in the brick, no visible gap between the brick and wood facing. Great job overall. I would recommend them highly.
Great all around company!! I would definitely recommend using them to anyone in need of foundation repair. Customer service is off the charts, as well as their work!! Everything is guaranteed and transferable, if you ever look to sell your home.
